What “Last reviewed” means

A review date means we checked the page against the primary official sources listed on that page on or around that date. It does not mean the page was reviewed by a lawyer unless the page explicitly says that it was.

How we update legal pages

For BC court-process pages, we prioritize BC Laws, the Provincial Court of British Columbia and Province of BC court/family-justice resources. For federal support topics, we prioritize Justice Canada and the official Federal Child Support Guidelines.

If a prescribed form or rule changes, we update the explanation and review date after checking the new source. We do not advance dates automatically just to make pages look fresh.

If you see an outdated form reference, broken source, calculation issue or wording that could be clearer, please contact us. Do not send confidential facts about your family-law case.

Important limitation
